WELCOME TO SONOCARELAB

Led by Prof. Jinhyoung Park since 2016, SONOCARELAB works on developing ultrasonic techniques for both imaging and therapeutic applications. Some of the ongoing researches in the SONOCARELAB includes: 

• Stimulating cell and the brain by ultrasound to study fundamental mechanism of neuromodulation

• Developing ultrasonic systems including both hardware and software for biological applications

• Enabling blood vessel imaging with novel transducer and imaging techniques

• Skin elastography

SONOCARELAB is located in the N-Center at the Sungkyunkwan University and is part of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Intelligent Precision Healthcare Convergence at Sungkyunkwan University.

Taewon, Seoyun and Daegan received the Korean Society for Therapeutic Ultrasound (KSTU) Outstanding Presentation Award for their presentation.

Daegan, Lumi, Hyungu and Yeji won the Grand Prize (1st Place) at the 2022 ExCool Undergraduate Research Contest with the research topic of "Feasibility Study on Ultrasound Brain Sweeper with Phantom".

Samsung ​Sci & Tech Foundation Grant for Ultrasound Brain Sweeper

While Samsung announced 27 research projects chosen for the funding in the first half of 2022, Dr. Jinhyoung Park has been selected as one of the seven investigators leading the ICT field.​
